By now, you may have heard about the letter that Martin Luther King III wrote to John Edwards earlier this month. Then again, perhaps you haven't. The media has not covered it much.
Here's my favorite part:
So, I urge you: keep going. Ignore the pundits, who think this is a horserace, not a fight for justice. My dad was a fighter. As a friend and a believer in my father’s words that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, I say to you: keep going. Keep fighting. My father would be proud.
Well, a few of us Edwards supporters were wondering, what can we do to make sure that more people hear about this letter? We'd like to get this letter out there in a big way, and we need your help.
Today, I have uploaded a new video to YouTube. In the video, our own RedJet's husband Eddie (Mr. RedJet) reads the letter. His reading accompanies a slide show of photos related to the themes in the letter.
We hope you enjoy this video and please spread it around! Post it on blogs and email it to your friends! Let's get this letter out there!
UPDATE: Another way to get this letter out there is to send it to the media or call in to radio shows with it. Yesterday, our own JSamuel read the letter on Make It Plain, a Sirius sattelite radio show that focuses on African American issues. Click here for the MP3.
